Who We Are
In 2006 a group of industry professionals recognised that the engineering and design capability of the UK's DNOs was stifled by overly prescriptive practice and ill-equipped to meet the mounting challenges in the quickly changing sector. OTSIB was established with the aim of disrupting this practice and supplying project-driven, high-quality design output, meeting stringent regulatory standards whilst providing much needed flexibility in an increasingly dynamic energy landscape.
The team brought together over a hundred years of engineering, design, project management and draughting expertise from diverse backgrounds including generation, nuclear, transmission & distribution, protection & control, rail and aerospace. This depth of knowledge and scope of experience has allowed OTSIB to expand beyond DNOs, support clients in any industry needing high quality power engineering, instil confidence, drive innovation and deliver exceptional results year on year.
